Bit of an over reaction, IMO. Run the K9 by it first. If the dog sits, run.

Man isn't that the truth.....funny story the other day (I was there with the k 9 officer as I know him) a lady had to go to the restroom real bad & she left her bag & purse unattended while she went. So when she came back the K-9 officer & the dog was there. He told her you can't leave your stuff unattended & they called out the dog. You would've had to seen it. Scared the crap out of her & she was so apologic Also she was a hottie which I had told the officer & he said lets have fun with this one

This reads like the opening scene to a bad porn movie. Got any 1980's Diner muzak to go with it?

I don't see why some left luggage caused the entire terminal to be evacuated. It's tortuous enough as it is in B-1, what with bozo's shutting down the escalator to security every few minutes and no lounge. And then they bussed everyone to the Gas station for 4 hours. I can only imagine how much fun that was.

Why couldn't a LEO have picked up the bag, taken it out to a nearby paddy field and opened it? If it starts fuming while he's opening it, run.

I have seen this happen when people want to save places at the check-in line bit don't want to actually do any waiting.

Same here. I don't know if this is what ended up happening, but it's a shame that people (someone who could have just been using the bathroom) caused an inconvenience for everyone else, just for the sake of a few minutes.
