New (post-dated) PV entry: What's in a Name?

http://www.tsa.gov/blog/2009/05/whats-in-name.html

I guess Poster Boy had to wait for the grown-ups to come back to work on Monday before he could post his newest submission...

Gotta love all the 'for the near future'...'should not cause a problem'...'could still be allowed to fly' phrases included.

Since this apparently went into effect last Friday, has anyone had any problems w/this name matching?

At least they aren't asking that the fonts match as well.:)

This is great... gotta love this...
  • birth certificate - Jonathan Smith
  • passport - Jonathan Smith
  • Drivers licence - Jonathan Paul Smith
  • FFY programs - Jon Smith
  • Credit cards - mix - Jonathan Smith, Jon Smith, Jon P. Smith, J. P. Smith

So which one do I use.... Never been a problems - people recognize that Jon is Jonathan - even international has not been a problem....

And this makes us more secure how?
