Halloween and TSA thread

Getting slowly in the mood (and working late hours).

I have a trip on Saturday (11/1) coming up, really early in the morning. If I show up in my latex Halloween mask (glue mounted), present my ID and agree to 2ndary, will they let me airside? :D

Please make it an Osama bin Laden mask. :D

Skeletor or Kippy might be a better choice -- I'm sure many of the TSOs have no idea who their bosses are.

Claim religious freedom, you'll be fine.

I don't think that the OP wants to go as a Communist or an Idiot. :D

On a similar note though, when I worked for the government, a contractor guy in my office rented a gorilla suit and went thru building security with that (he had a badge to get him thru). He got a lot of laughs walking down the hall in a gorilla suit and his badge. :D They were cool about it, but I don't know that TSA would be.

I was disappointed at what I saw at DCA. On Halloween I went to DCA to meet a friend there. The TSA didn't look AT all Halloween-ey (they weren't passing out candy or even dressed up a teeny bit). And, maybe it was just me, or they seemed to be taking longer than usual checking ID's and looking more "intimidating." Maybe it's because of their uniform changes? DCA TSA has always seemed really friendly to me...so that's why this struck me as odd...and the slow ID checking.

Were there any airports where TSA was handing out candy this year, for any of you?

Candy is not allowed through checkpoints as it may contain razor blades.

Superguy Nov 3, 2008 8:27 am

TSA didn't need to dress up as they're already clowns. :D

They didn't let us dress up :(

I wanted to dress as the cleaning crew (SCRUB)
