TSAers allowed liquids

I was flying out of MHT, and noted they allowed a TSA employee to just X-Ray her water bottle.

On the way out of my home airport, I purchased a soft drink and was asked "You are not going through security are you?", I said "no, I was going the other way." I asked her about TSA and she says "Well they can get their drinks through, but they wont let us."

Haven't you heard? It's now official: All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

(Note to TSA: 1984 and Animal Farm were warnings, not textbooks.)

If the TSA would simply let me sell them my liquids before entry into the sterile area, and let me buy them back after entry, I could live with it.

And it is obviously impossible for a Terryist to put some mythical water-based explosives in a bottle, hand them to a TSA-accomplice, and get them through security unchecked, right?

If liquids are a problem, they are a problem. Otherwise, leave them be.

Anyway, the scanner isn't fool proof, or at least the one manning it may err.

I just alighted from a Virgin America, and got passed security for a UA flight with the half empty bottle of water that was given in VX first in my bag while I went through security. I only realized this after I finished my dinner a needed some water.

Um. Flight crew (including those not on the flight deck, and those not even working the flight, as long as they're in uniform) are also given a pass on the liquid lunacy, allowed as much liquid as they can carry. And they are boarding flights.

Um, people not boarding flights can pass liquids to people who are behind security.

Um, medical reasons allow pax as much liquids as they can carry.

Um, multiple bad guys can combine their permissible liquid quantitites and board large amounts of liquids.

Um, one bad guy can make multiple trips and board large amounts of liquids.

Um, explosives come in multiple physical states in addition to liquids and gels.

Yes, its (sic) simple, all right.

Yeah, & since no screener would ever steal from passenger baggage or smuggle drugs thru the airport or try to bring a gun thru a checkpoint, it stands to reason no screener would ever be an accomplice to someone who was boarding an aircraft or just wanted to blow up the terminal itself, right? And please spare me the 'all the screeners passed a background check' BS-a background check provides absolutely no assurance for potential of future criminal behavior.

Either liquids greater than 3.4 oz & sans a TSA-approved Kip Kwart are dangerous & must be treated as such, regardless of who is carrying them, or they aren't-anything less is nothing but window dressing for the Flying Kettles.

Well I'm not boarding the aircraft if I'm escorting my son to the gate flying as an unaccompanied minor. I'm just meeting up and handing him off to the agent there. Why don't I get to carry water, I'm not flying or even boarding the aircraft.

EXACTLY, the lunacy with these rules continues to amaze me.
