Strange encounter at DCA
 

I was at DCA, US Airways security checkpoint, just observing the TDC's doing their business. (Don't ask why, just was bored and wanted to check them out.) This tall, cute TDC kept glancing at me and smiling at me (through the crowds). He then came up to me and tried to talk to me, but since I'm Deaf, I gave him my pager. He said his name was [not disclosing]. I gave him mine. He asked me what I was doing here. I told him I was meeting friends. He then said it was nice meeting me, and that he had to get back to work. He was very nice throughout the whole thing.

However, I wonder... if he was flirting with me (hitting on me), or if he was SPOTTing me? I couldn't tell, and he had a wedding ring on his left hand, wedding finger...however, he did say he had to go back to work, and he just seemed so friendly and like he found me interesting. Hmmm. I'm hoping it's him flirting with me, not SPOTTing me...

I suggest that you invite him out for a drink, then write "SSSS" on the bar napkin. See if that gets you--umm--"a secondary."

He wasn't a SPOTter, he was flirting with you without trying to make it obvious. We aren't allowed to hit on the passengers.:D

But you're allowed to hit passengers, right? ;) :p
