Your Most Valuable Item ever Surrendered to TSA?

What is the most valuable item you've ever had to surrender to TSA?
How much was it worth?
I've heard stories of valuable perfumes and wines but have never had this happen to me.
EDIT: OK, you FT'ers are too saave at travelling to succumb.
So how about "horror" stories of "thievery" that you've heard about?

complimentary bottle of water that I forgot was in my briefcase

It wasn't the TSA, but the Russians took a small (3") screwdriver.

I'm actually pretty careful about checking what's allowed.

Can of corn (TSA arguing "it's a just can", "no there's liquid in there")
Big tube of toothpaste with almost nothing in it (potential size matters, not how much is in it)
Little sample size of airline toothpaste (no size printed on it, TSA man "I have no brain, I can't estimate the size" - he really didn't say that)
Fork (TSA man "this is a weapon of mass destruction" - he really didn't say that)

I bought a water before going through security.
I drank the entire bottle in 1 gulp right in front of the TSA. :D
Got my $2+ worth for that water.

I've only ever donated a bottle of prepared horseradish. So $2.50, maybe.

Civil rights? Dignity? Freedom, for an illusion of "security"?

They got me in in PHX on Tuesday; I'd forgotten to take my mini Swiss Army "knife" out of my toiletries. This is a combo nail file, minisissors and a knife with a blade about an inch and a half long that I'd had for years. The damnedest thing was the only reason I got inspected was because it wasn't busy and it took them about 5 minutes of aimless digging thru everything else to find it.

I was in Lowes in Boston yesterday and saw the same knife for $9.99.

NRT security snagged my children's safety scissors which I think were $4-5 at Target.

Let's not forget time. While not as valuable as our rights and dignity, it's quite valuable. Even when one values time at minimum wage, many of us have lost hundreds of dollars worth to the TSA.

A jar of Skippy peanut butter.

Liquid my ....
