DFW: Newbie changing terminals

I've got to go from gate E11 to gate D34 at DFW. Will I have to go through security again? How long should the walk be?
Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the "E" concourse - just A / B / C / D, which are all AA but D is also the international concourse handling some other carriers.

There is a SkyTrain which circles the airport and all of the terminals inside the secure zone. It's a couple levels above the departure floor, but there is good signage as well as escelators and lifts (elevators) to get you up to the station.

Not sure this is the best forum for the question (mods ?) - but I hope this helps.

SDF_Traveler
, thanks for your assistance.

If the OP can tell us which airline(s) he's flying in and out of DFW, perhaps his questions can be definitively answered in the forum for that airline.

DFW is one of the easiest airports to get around in from one gate to another or one terminal to another. The Skylink train comes every couple of minutes and the pickup/dropoff points are never too far from your gate. Just look for the Skylink signs and then when you get up the escalator look for the lighted sign showing you which train to get on, since they go both directions and you want the shortest route. Very simple and fast. I wish every airport was as easy as DFW.

We're going from Alaska Airlines to American Airlines. Sound like transfer will be easy on the Skylink. Thanks to all.
