That only make sense if you feel the need to declare your liquids to the screener. :rolleyes: Even now you can carry on larger amounts of liquids if you declare them to be medical necessities. You can't make TATP on board. If you want to smuggle more than 3oz. on board you don't put in carryon.

I don't buy that. Other TSO's have said those things can be configured to detect just about anything out there ... even drugs. Why not TATP?

But here's another thing, x-rays don't detect explosives either, yet they're still used for explosives detection. By TSA's logic, the puffers should be used to detect TATP then if what you say is true. :D

Detecting good people forced into circumventing bad regulations prevents you from addressing actual issues. That is why Skeletor and Hawley are fools. They are actively encouraging the average citizen to become screens for terrorist activity.
