APIS on world tour: next stop Spain

APIS has apparently reached the shores of Spain. Passengers arriving on flights orginating in non-Schengen countries will have to provide an "APIS light" set of data - date and place of birth plus passport number. As far as I am aware, Spain is the first EU country to introduce such a process

Very, very pointless. All you have to do is fly in via another Schengen country to get round this.

As I usually fly KLM I'd be flying LON-AMS first and therefore would bypass this regulation.
