Lobster Carnival at Portland (Maine) Jetport this morning

I went thru security about 5:30 AM for the 6 AM JetBlue to JFK. It was only about a 20 minute wait for me - but - by the time I was at the WTMD, the line stretched around the entire upstairs corridor and beyond (think halfway to the Allagash). I've seen shorter lines at LAS. I saw a NW DC-9, 4 Delta Brand RJs, 2 UA Brand RJs, 3 USAir Brand RJs + a US Airbus and a COEX. They must all depart around the same time?

Anyhow, I recall - years ago, pre-liquid fetish, pre-TSA - a shop used to sell Live Lobsters to go at PWM. Packed in a box suitable for carry on!

Anyone know if such a thing still exists? Or are Live Lobsters Verboten?

If I was TSA, I might have to confiscate all lobsters on the grounds that they are too tasty to fly. Um, I mean, they could be used as weapons! yeah, those claws are nasty...
