Remember that the EU (responding to British pressure) were going to initiate the infuriating LHR one bag circus on April 17. This was announced in October or November when the stupid Brits finally allowed the zip-lock charade.

So, did the bureaucrats just forget about this? I have not been in Europe since early April and I sadly thought it was my last opportunity for normal travel.

It seems the whole business got nailed in the EU parlament and got sent for a secondary. There is going to be a study on just what this nonsense is going to bring or if it is just another annoyment that even the Parlamentarians will have to bear...

This is the best news that I have heard. Screw the Brits and their nonsense. I have only been there once since Aug 10 (yep, I was there on the day). Normally, I would been through 5-6 times in that period.

Since this issue is being discussed in an earlier thread, we'll close this one.
