im not sure about usa to be certain. i have used bathrooms at ORD,lAX, JFK and TUS. The bathrooms i am in definately do not have cameras or pinhole. I have seen cameras close to entrances or monitoring just the inside of pathways of mens bathrooms in sydney, singapore and bangkok. In some of these bathrooms, the centre security guards sometimes go into the bathrooms to do a "walk around" which can be somewhat discomforting as i appreciate a bit of privacy. Away from prying eyes or having to keep up appearances with clients or fellow employees. as a guy, i think you would appreciate some privacy while doing what the purpose the toilet is meant for. i cannot imagine a security guard enjoying the thrill of spending half his time in a bathroom smelling "faeces and human waste" what do you think?

Yes, as a way to end the stupid liquid ban. Run the lav cameras live to the IFE. We can all "do our part" to Stay Alert on the Waw on Tewwow. When 18 year old Brit lads enter, we watch carefully for signs of setting up a Junior Jihad Portable Chemistry Set. Since a batch of TATP takes a while to brew, the pax have plenty of time to form a vigilante committee, bust down the door, and grab the Tewwowist. Another Plane Saved through the wonders of Video Surveilance and Alert Passengers. Medals from Kip! Film at 11.

Well, there are lots of places that have bathroom attendants, such as high-end hotels and nightclubs. I guess people don't tend to tip security guards, though! LOL!

You're kidding, right? I mean, I don't consider going to the bathroom "wrong" but that doesn't mean I want someone watching me through a camera.

Thank you for that. I never pass up an opportunity to post this link just one more time:
