THANK YOU SPIFF for saying EXACTLY what I was feeling. Badge me or get the f*** out of my face. Better yet, if you have reason to arrest me, then do so. If not, go pull your power tip with someone who's far more easily intimidated than I am. On second thought, I probably would have just put the ear buds back in and put my head back as soon as the verbal assault started. That way you've ignored this rube AND kept your cool at the same time.

I don't think TSA people actually fly. The last time I was through SJC on AS I had trimmed my OLCI BP to size rather than folding it. The post arch BP checker went on and on about how I had removed important data and that I should never trim that 8.5x11 inch paper.

Now what can you do with a situation like that? I probably should have asked for a complaint form, but my time is worth money and I didn't feel like writing a TSA training manual for them.

I can tell you that from now on I'm going to make a paper-doll of my BP and remove all unnecessary white space. Seasoned travelers travel light, right?

Of course, the sad thing is people have been shot on the jetbridge for not responding to marshalls.

Wear earbuds or be deaf at your own risk. Welcome to America.

My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.
When will you be back?
I can't tell you that. It's classified.

Any bets that FAMs will kill more unarmed people before the program is cleaned up?

"Cleaned up?" This implies it was a bad shoot, which it was not. As in, if the program had been "cleaned up" Alpizar would not have been shot. Which is completely and utterly false.

The program needs cleaning up in more than one way.

You may have less (sic) problems and better luck "asking" and not "demanding".

Obviously, one can make a demand w/o anger or implied invective attached, for example: "May I see your ID?" vs. "I'd like to see some ID, please," said in a calm, steady voice. I'm not sure that couching such a command -- yes, they are compelled to produce ID -- in the form of a questions buys one any better luck or fewer problems, per se.

That answers a question I am sure. Just not mine.

No need to answer a question you asked and answered for yourself -- especially as the question doesn't say as much about my post as it says about the read/misread of my post. That is, my prior response to your post has the answer in it.
