Passport rules for children eased

"Children will be exempt from new rules that will require travelers to show passports when entering the U.S. at land or sea borders....."

Until state.gov states this is the case, I am highly doubtful.

In the name of "security" we are all potential terrorists. As an extension of that mentality, children are just terrorists-in-training.

Easing the rules for some travelers, regardless of age, would just encourage the rest of us to believe that there is hope for a free society. Given the current DHS/TSA mentality, a return to a reasonable level of security measures is highly unlikely. I don't expect that the next election will curb this trend. :(

Especially U.S. boy scouts heading off to Atikokan for canoing. Visit another country to broaden ones experiences??? Certainly an indication they are threats.

Oh well, at least with them you don't have to worry about them having more than 3 oz of any personal hygiene products.
