Liquids through IAH
 

Thought this was interesting at IAH and am passing it on (as I remember it) for what it's worth.

A TSA screener stopped a lady's bag at the outlet of the x-ray and asked her if it was hers. She said yes and he then asked her if she had a bottle of something inside. She said she had some perfume and started to open the bag to presumably take it out. The screener told her not to remove it, but to "just let us know next time". She went on her way with her bag without any further incident that I could see.

This is the same terminal where I had a brand new $70 bottle of cologne confiscated some months back.

go figure ...
