Hi, I just registered as a new user although I have been reading the forum for quite some time. I just thought some of you might find it of interest that there is an article about this forum in the online version of an influential German newspaper called Die Welt with the title "Die Hassfigur für Vielflieger" ("The Frequent Flyers' Hated Figure"), referring to Kip Hawley. Couldn't read anything in the German article, but in the middle of the mess of indistinguishable gibberish out popped a very familiar phrase. I guess "Kip Hawley is an idiot" stands out in any language! :D

the writer of the article just referred to the FlyerTalk thread 'I was detained at the TSA checkpoint for about 25 minutes today' the story is actually about that thread or at least about what happened at TSA checkpoint
