What do you do with your baggies in between flights?

I just got something out of my purse and realized I had my zip lock bag with my liquid medicines and separate zip lock bag with my "Liquids" (Lip gloss, mascara, etc.). I haven't flown in over a week (I typically fly every week) yet I still am carrying around my baggies. I guess I'm prepared for my next flight, but it seems a little silly.

What do you do with your baggies in between flights?

I leave my toiletries in my toiletry bag at all times. It stays in my suitcase. Only time i get it out is to replenish my supplies since 3 oz of shampoo and conditioner only lasts a couple trips before it becomes difficult to squeeze out of my bottle.

Yup. I knew I was really starting to travel a lot when I got sick of forgetting toiletry X or toiletry Y, and just went out and bought a complete duplicate set of stuff. It all just lives in my carry-on bag. Before a trip, all I do is go through and see what (if anything) needs to be replenished.

Hint: Keep the bottles upside-down after unpacking.

I do the same. I travel a good deal so I always leave a toiletry bag packed, although much of my travel is local, ie, Amtrak, not flights, so I don't need the baggie. However, it's just become such a hassle to move things around that I just leave everything in the baggie in the case. When I need to fly, I can just check the contents and throw it in my carryon tote.

These baggies are the pits because I had previously had one medium waterproof bag in my rollaboard (always packed and replenished as needed) and two small prepacked ones in my tote, one for medicine and one for cosmetics. Now, of course, items from all three need to be baggie-ized and don't all fit so need to be transferred to smaller (but pre-labelled) containers or smuggled in pockets. Then when I arrive I have to get things back the way they belong. Then to go home the reverse. Another reason to avoid air travel unless absolutely necessary.

I try to suggest that TSA employees use them as hats. ;)

After my baggie has been in the bin, I get a new one and start over. Realized I could be picking up nasty germs in those shared bins. My little bottle collection sits waiting for its next outing.

I mail them to Kip with a short, personal message handwritten on the translucent strip.

I was thinking of covering their heads with it then using a large rubber band to insure a tight fit to their neck. ;)

THAT is something I think I'd like to do.

Imagine Kip getting thousands of *used* ziploc baggies in the mail. That would be hilarious!

Why not put the baggie over your mouth and breath in and out slowly into the baggie. This will keep you from hyperventilating over the liquids procedures that bother ya'll so much? LOL :p
