People, people - you're all fighting over a moot point. Al-Qaeda could simply plant a proven solid-state explosive with a detonator onto an aircraft as part of a completely unscreened cargo load and then, post-disaster, watch TSA demand all pax get naked while the pilots demand AK-47s to defend the cockpit.
I'd laugh if this wasn't the most serious CREDIBLE threat facing commercial aviation...
