Question

How many one quart baggies may a pax have in their carry-on?

I'm sitting here laughing to myself at the thought of pax putting several baggies through the x-ray, one bag for each pair of underwear, socks, etc. in addition to the toiletries.

What a great way to tie up the line.

You can have only one baggie with liquids, but I see no limit on the TSA website as to the total number of baggies with which one may travel.

I wanted to have several 1 qt. baggies each containing one 3 oz. container of "liquid."

The toiletries ziploc is to be removed from the rest of your items when you go thru security. However, considering that no one with the TSA is traveling, tie up the line all you want... I have no problem taking longer than I already am! :D

I can see it all now. "Sir, there will be no boarding for you unless you dispose of those 3 extra baggies."

No dice, TSA.gov clearly states that each pax can only have ONE bag with liquids and gels, the baggie is to be quart size or smaller, and the items inside must be 3oz or less

In principal this might be an interesting manouver; but there are other pax who want to get through the security line quickly...why inconvenience everyone else to spite tsa's inane rules?
