Well, my answer would probably have been something like "Hold on, I know this. It's basketball isn't it? Sorry chum, can't help you. That's considered a girls' game in England." :D

'sounds like he was just taking some kind of survey to me. He didn't ask to see ID or BP, did he?

I think you guys are reading too much into this.

Survey of what, praytell?

What could some guy w/a clipboard in a TSA uniform possibly need to survey me about much before -- or even right after - the CP?? My level of Customer Service satisfaction?? Please ...

SPOT is a behavioral profiling system - they don't need to see BPs to do that.

From what I understand, the possible outcomes of a SPOT interview are:

(1) pax sent on for normal secreening
(2) pax sent for secondary
(3) pax sent for secondary and LEO called in

Ah, for the days of the Scientology questionnaires and friendly Hare Krishnas!
Have you thought of asking him if this was part of his assignment, an assessment for Dyanetics (watch THAT quizzical response from him!), or a path to enlightenment? . Frankly, either is more preferable.

(Cleveland's moniker for them is "Thousands Standing Around".)

Oh, and ask him which gate Transcendental Air is using...Gate 14, Gate 15, Gate 16....
