Any luck with OTC "prescriptions?"

I was just wondering if any FTers have had any luck getting past the TSA with "prescription" lotion, toothpaste, Afrin, etc. I have all of the above and am hoping to be able to take it onboad my upcoming longhaul flight in a few weeks... Please share your experiences.

Hi there ;)

Great question!

On the woman's forum there's a somewhat related thread:

"Please post your experience getting through security with make-up/personal care items"

Be great to hear from the men though too.

Gels of any size are still NOT permitted, unless you have a prescription
