Is denture adhesive allowed in carry on?

Anyone who is familiar with dentures knows that many if not MOST denture wearers use adhesive paste (Polygrip) to secure dentures against accidentally releasing and make eating and talking more secure. Those adhesives NEED TO BE REAPPLIED (ESPECIALLY TO LOWER DENTURES) EVERY FEW HOURS. Otherwise one risks being unable to eat or talk without false teeth wobbling or letting go and unnerving those seeing or hearing the problem.

So, is denture adhesive paste (in a tube) permitted aboard flights now?? Is the (more difficult to use and hard to find and buy) adhesive POWDER permitted?

My guess is that they're going to say no. Since it's a gel or paste, they'll probably decline, even if it has a medical benefit. They allow some liquids on board--4 oz of a nonprescription medicine, contact lens fluid, etc., but the ban on gels and pastes seems to include everything. You might want to get your dentist to write some kind of a note explaining that you must have an adhesive paste with you.
