Options to replace gel insoles?

I usually use Dr. Scholl's gel insoles in all of my shoes (http://www.drscholls.com/product.aspx?prodid=70). Now that I'm a security threat with my gel insoles I'm trying to figure out what I can bring on the plane. How about these memory foam insoles? They're "foam" not "gel" and therefore "safe".

Refuse to remove your shoes claiming they are orthopedic and it causes you great pain getting them on and off and being without them.
