No checked bags for me. My case of 144 disposal pre-pasted Ortho toothbrushes arrived fed-ex yesterday, and I have brought the old shaving soap and brush out of retirement. The hotel has shampoo and I can do without the rest.

One must really wonder why a size limit would not work better than all of this. Why not limit liquids and gels to an ounce or two in size or less.

Excellent. Pax who are comitted to continuing their carrying-on ways are facing increasing challenges. Let us know if "pre-pasted" raises any red flags. Have a good one!

Make sure you tell us how things work out! I want to know if they give you a hard time for your toothbrushes.

Well done! Another alternative to toothpaste is tooth powder. Here is a selection.

Especially with the allowance for solid deodorant and (I think) Chapstick-type semi-solid lip balm, there are viable alternatives for many of the restricted items.

The two I still can't find a way around:
1) Drinking water (there is simply no substitute)
2) Eye drops (Although the 4 oz. rule may allow a small bottle of eyedrops)

Through security and in the club room. TSA opened my toiletry kit and did not even pull out the pre-pasted toothbrush. From my observation, the toothbrush looks dry, and you would not even know it was pre-pasted.

I definitely recommend this option, because for male passengers, with solid deoderant, shaving soap or electric razor, and no need for makeup, carry-ons become no problem again.

the cost of the 144 pre-pasted toothbrushes was $12.95 plus tax and shipping (it cost as much to ship as to buy with overnight delivery saturday).
