TSA "Intelligence"

So I'm watching CNN -- and the Atlanta airport manager said that they are waiting on TSA "intelligence" to determine how long this level of security will last. I almost spit out the water in my mouth laughing.

My Dad used to say the greatest oxymoron in the world was Naval Intelligence...and he was in the Navy at the time. Maybe we have a new one?

Using "TSA" and "intelligence" in the same sentence taints the word "intelligence" in a not-so-subtle way. It actually begins to change the meaning of "intelligence" itself to something more along the lines of "idiocy," "stupidity," and "dumbarsedness."

The TSA is really screwed when it comes to modifying nouns and adjectives.

TSA Intelligence = Oxymoron
TSA Stupidity = Redundancy

:D

What they are waiting for is the MI5 to make sure they caught all the bad guys and nobody else is on the loose.

The TSA couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the heel.
