Detroit Friday 28 July, Smith Terminal, 7 pm. Walk through wicket w/hands in pocket. No alarm. Female insists I walk through again w/o hands in pockets. Now alarm, so have to go through full wanding.

Hands in pockets not SOP, huh?

Is that how the TSA's set it off when they want to? During a discussion about my shoes recently aTSA said "hold up your foot" (into the WTMD);
the TSA pointed down as if at my shoe and the detector went off. I'd be willing to bet he actually brushed the side.
