TSA Tales from PIT
 

What a disgrace. :(

I won't spend another dime at PIT, even when connecting. :td:

BTW, boys and girls, this story is justification for why you should file a complaint each and every time you are:

• haraSSSSed
• subjected to the Shoe Carnival with no alarm at the WTMD, no matter how thick your soles are
• Are patted down even though there are no unresolved alarms
• Are asked or forced to remove outer garments even though they do not alarm
• Have someone go through your bags for 'suspicious' items that cannot be used to hijack an airplane, such as large amounts of cash or syringes.

I find it amazing that I've flown about a million miles over the past ten years, visiting companies in a variety of industries, and nearly every well-known city in the US, and never once have I had to fly to PIT. Must not be much there. Given the security situation, I'm very thankful.

What a gigantic hand-job that reporter gave the TSA spokeshole. Simply outrageous!

Albeit I had a bad incident at PIT back in July, I did receive a quick response from Laura Snell almost immediately after emailing her my complaint.

My travels rarely take me to PIT, but if they have $2 hookers there maybe I'll change my itinerary @:-)

A good rule of thumb is that you get what you pay for!
