Actually, I wish he had. That would've lit a fire (pun intended) under the DHS to implement alternative, less invasive/irksome screening methods pronto. Can you imagine the hue/cry from the rank/file public about even the potential for cavity searches?

The same rank/file public that still says stupid things like "if it's for my safety, I will do anything", or "we need to accept giving up our rights and privacy to help the President protect us" :rolleyes:

Somehow I think if cavity searches were actually rolled out, there would be a fair number of people who would support it. I just wish we could better identify and deport them.
