I'm happy to report that when I checked in at LHR and got my boarding passes for LHR-ORD and ORD-MSP, neither had the dreaded "SSSS". And we landed in ORD a half hour early, so I had extra time to enjoy the great good at the ORD Flagship Lounge. The salmon is terrific.

I also assume I'll have to check in early in MSP for my return, to allow time for the asinine secondary screening?
I'll keep my fingers crossed about this part of the trip.
