Christmas decoration killed more in the USA last year than terrorists...

...perhaps we need a "X-masSA"?

It's true!

Definitely! THINK OF THE CHILDREN. Roving CSA (Christmas Security Agency) screeners doing random SSSS patdowns of Christmas trees. Make sure to grope little Johnny on Christmas Eve to make sure there are no shorted light strings in his PJs. And those wrapped presents are anything but safe. CSA agents can 'secure' them, leaving only their calling card.

Um, anything killed more in the USA last year than terrorists.
And the year before that.

So is this thread intended to thank the TSA for doing such a good job keeping everyone safe? While i'm at it i'm going to go squeeze some tomatoes so I can make eggnog. :)

Christmas and Tsunamis

Lest anyone think that I was being serious about a "new TSA" in this or the now-closed Tsunami Security Authority thread, I wasn't.

But it goes to show there are lots of risky and deadly things out there.

If the TSA's resources were removed from Aviation and aimed at enforcing seat-belt laws and speed limits, I am positive more American lives would be spared each year.

Stuff happens and sometimes there ain't much anyone can do about it...

...even if you do grope all the women-folk that beep.

And the attractive women-fold who do not beep.
