^ Sort of like "Fly to Rule" for airline passengers, not completely unlike the "work to rule" slowdowns occasionally practiced by unionized airline employees. :D

I didn't read her remarks to mean she was declaring war on the United States.

:D :D

Don't forget this part of the definition of treason: "in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort." :D

Some of the stuff you post is out there, but this one takes the cake.

I would even venture that you could be in violation of FT TOS for libeling another member when it's clear she was not suggesting anything treasonous. We won't talke about all the false information you've posted on this board (esp. with regard to law and judicial rulings).

I think you owe an apology to the OP.

And my apologies to the thread and forum for even dignifying this rubbish.

As a postscript, is this the new America? Go against the TSA and you are a traitor? Yes, comrade!

These are really good suggestions -- new gloves everytime... I like it!

I'll going to leave this thread open - but be aware that the future posts on this thread need to focus on the original post & topic of this thread.

Posts that attack other FTers aren't permitted - and won't be tolerated!

Thanks!

Hey Chris. I'll bring it back on topic. So FliesWay2Much says the TSA screener offers him/her an opp for private screening & then berates said person for offering - ie, 'what do you have to hide'? I question that response in my post, & his/her response is it's in the rules of TSA to provide private screenings.

Ok, then where's the disconnect? For whatever reason they were going to do a secondary screening, they pro-actively offered FliesWay2Much the option of private, s/he gives them a hard time - and then wonders why they might be more skittish (even if it's the rules) in the offering of private in the future to others.

Personally (and speaking only for me) I don't get FliesWay2Much's initial response or what it added to the experience.

And I also realize my responses to things may be different. Goodness knows I've called TSA out on things when I think they're not doing something properly, but by the same token I don't go looking for fights w/ them or try to prove a point.

I want my rights respected, but I'm also not going to throw a hissy fit over perceived injustices that may not exist, etc. Again, my goal is to get on the plane w/ the minimum amount of hassles, whether it's due to the airlines, TSA or fellow passengers (fill in the blank-all can be a pain in the butt).

Cheers. Sharon
