And yet another article

"The rules stress that passengers can ask to be checked in private and by a screener of their same gender - Gentry and Gaynier say their patdowns were conducted by women - and that screeners must only use the backs of their hands when touching sensitive places.

But legal groups who are monitoring the women's complaints say those rules are not always followed.

"What these women are complaining about is being groped," said Barry Steinhardt, director of the American Civil Liberties Union's technology and liberty project, which is tracking the complaints and hopes to meet with the TSA soon."

Breast Exams At The Airport: Do The New Security Measures Go Too Far?

BREAST EXAMS AT THE AIRPORT: DO THE NEW SECURITY MEASURES GO TOO FAR?
FindLaw Columnist Sherri Colb

Rutgers law professor Sherry Colb discusses the privacy implications of
a new, intrusive kind of airport search that is aimed at discovering
non-metallic explosives carried upon passengers' persons. Colb notes
that a number of women have complained about the searches' involving
inappropriate touching. She argues that the searches are unjustified in
light of the fact that the intrusion is severe, and their effectiveness
in detecting the kind of explosives they are meant to uncover is
dubious.

The article you posted is an AP article posted here several days ago. That FindLaw posted it today isn't the issue. I remember it because it contains quotes that sound very familiar (perhaps I've heard similar words posted here on FlyerTalk). ;)

The Breast Exam article posted by SylviaCaras (which Spiff posted earlier today) is also a duplicate.

No problem. If you originate threads, you are bound to start some dups. I do it, Spiff did it just the other day, and now you have. :)

If we are all in agreement that this thread is a duplicate of one or two others, I’m going to lock it.
In addition, could we all be a little more descriptive with our thread titles? Not picking on red456 but a title such as “ And yet another article” does not adequately describe the information in the thread. And it makes it hard to follow topics of interest.
Please try to summarize the key point or idea of your thread in the title.
Thanks....
