Ditto. I've already gone through background checks, had to disclose tons of personal information, and been fingerprinted as part of the bar admission process. I'd probably be willing to submit to an iris scan if I thought I'd get a significant benefit out of it.

Tell them that you live at 1060 West Addison in Chicago. (For those of you who haven't seen The Blues Brothers, that's the address of Wrigley Field. Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd) uses it as his address on his driver's license, which misleads both the cops and the "American Socialist White People's Party" when they come looking for him.)

When a business asks me for my phone number without a good reason, I politely respond with a smile, "Sorry, it's unlisted." That's dodging the question, but they all seem to understand that it really means, "I don't want to give it to you."
