How much time should I give myself for a 9:55 am flight to EWR?

I have elite status (so busines class AA check-in), and I aim to arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before my 10:45am flight....and am usually lucky enough to spend 45-60 minutes in the Admiral's Club. That's in 2A, which is where I believe CO flys from.

Immigration/Security: I don't think this has ever taken more than 30 minutes...it's usually closer to 10. Hint: There are two checkpoints in each Hall of Terminal 2. If one is jam-packed, odds are that the other one will be much less crowded. (I believe the one closest to you is between the AA and CO check-in desks....the other should be to the right of this area.)

If you use economy class check-in, I would arrive closer to the 2 hour mark.

Your arrival time will be dependable if using the RER (or at least more dependable; we've been lucky with the strikes this year)...but cabs and buses are at the mercy of traffic.
