TSA List

A friend of mine saw this somewhere on the internet and sent it to me:

TIRED OF WAITING IN LINES AT THE AIRPORT?
The Transportation Security Administration recently launched the
Registered Traveler program. Qualified participants get to skip long
security lines. Those registered go through a special faster security
line. The special line scans the traveler's fingerprint or iris. Once
the identity is confirmed, the traveler walks through the metal
detector and is on his or her way.

Currently, only Northwest frequent fliers who fly from Minneapolis/
St. Paul are being asked to participate. Additonal airports and airlines
will join the program soon, and it's by invitation
only. Travelers may not "request an invitation" and anyone who does
"request" an invitation may be removed from the list, if they were on
the invitation list initially.

There's more information at the TSA's Web site:

There are other threads on this in the NW forum, the Newsstand forum, and the Security forum. I'll move this to the Security forum for further discussion as it is not specifically CO related.

Tired of those pesky civil liberties? Annoyed at how slow and open the democratic process is? Fed up with the rights of others when they conflict with you? Unsure of what Magna Carta, John Locke, and that U.S. war of independence was all about?
