European ePassport gates - removing glasses?

Is there a nation that permits passport photos to be taken with glasses? In Canada they are very specific about not wearing them for your passport photo.

I wore glasses on all my previous Australian passport photos, but a rule change last year means that you're not supposed to any more.

I remove my glasses at the egates as it's probably easier for both humans and computers to confirm a match that way. If they're looking at my actual face then it's different.
