Super Bowl program hologram sets off alarms at PHX

http://blogs.wsj.com/dailyfix/2015/0...gram/?mod=e2tw

But the article doesn't say what the issue was. Only resolution was for people to take them out of their checked luggage and put into carry on.

Anyone here know?

According to wandering aramean, it's metallic ink used in the programs which causes problems for the luggage scanners, resulting in a lot of false positives. Seems they had this issue after SXSW, also.

Funny

My initial thought upon hearing about the TSA's guidance to keep them with carry-on is that they are at high risk for being stolen. But then, why would the TSA admit to potentially stealing your stuff?
