Ok to carry on multiple 50ml liquids?

I can't remember the last time I carried liquid on. I received a gift set of Mongolian vodkas all in 50ml bottles (4 bottles). Is this ok in my carry on? Thanks!

Sure, as long as they are all placed into the same 1-qt plastic bag you should be fine.

They can't be loose in the carryon? I am not traveling within or to the United States if that helps.

No, all liquids have to be placed in the plastic bag.

It depends, what are the rules in place for the countries you are traveling to and from?

Not sure. Going Mongolia-China-Thailand-France. I found a plastic bag and put the 50ml bottles in it.

I always put my liquids in a ziplock baggie anyway even those in the checked bag, just in case of leakage. Though hopefully your bottles of booze won't be leaking!;)

Some Mideast countries might forbid alcohol or have special rules for it if you're connecting there.

Why dont you put them in your checked baggage... unless your planning on getting Peshed on a dry airline (VERY DODGY).

Not checking any bags.

If I have a lot of WMD shampoo, I have been known to take two Freedom Baggies with me. The first one is in my first carry-on and goes first. I make sure the bag is well on its way through the X-ray. Then, I take the second Freedom Baggie out of my second carry-on and send it through the X-ray. You have to go through the nude-o-scope because you can't hide the second Freedom Baggie if you opt out for the grope. For me, it works like a charm and the TSA clerks are none the wiser.

I don't think China will permit them in your carry-on even in your 311 bag. China doesn't like hard liquor in the cabin. My SIL lost a bottle that way. (It's actually an understandable rule--no makings of a molotov cocktail.)

Given the behavior I have observed on Chinese airlines, I doubt that is the real reason.

Recently, I'm told China isn't allowing any liquids on in-country flight carry ons. I was also told that some airlines are only allowing 100ml total of liquid? Is this true?
