Automated GOES Interview Time Checker
 

I was recently conditionally approved, and encountered the problem that everyone conditionally approved faces - checking the GOES website for the earliest interview time. Interview slots open up all the time, but are gone very quickly.

To deal with this problem, I decided to write a small script to automatically check the GOES website for interview times and email me if there is an earlier date available than the one I currently have, so I can quickly schedule the earlier date.

I decided to open source the script for everyone to use, and you can find it on GitHub here.

This is very generous of you. I already have Nexus/GE but I sure would have appreciated this in Feb. when I was obsessively checking GOES every half hour for a time slot. Thanks for sharing.

Is there any terms of service issue on CBP.gov that prohibits automated scripts? Don't want the government saying I violated the CFAA by using a script... ;)

http://www.globalentry.gov has no robots.txt defined, and I did not find any other notice saying the site is for humans only.

As log as you don't engage in "Unauthorized attempts to upload information and/or change information on these Web sites..." I don't see why this is a problem. I did a similar thing a few years ago to get an appointment for a US visa interview.
