Can anyone tell me if there is a way to walk from the interisland terminal to the overseas terminal without going through security again? I will be flying from kona to HNL.

Just follow the signs and do not go downstairs to baggage claim. Either walk through the terminal buildings or go upstairs and take the wikiwiki shuttle. You will need to clear agricultural inspection either before boarding the shuttle, or while doing the walk, but no tsa.
