parafe program cdg (French GE?)
 

I was browsing for info about cdg (Paris), and came across the PARAFE program, which is apparently new. It seems that it is similar to the GE program for the US.

It is a free program, but I couldn't tell if only EU people can use it.
Follow-up: I did further searching and it seems that only EU or Swiss are eligible and it was discussed on FT in the Air France Forum. But since things can change, are there any updates?

The residency restriction is here:

"Citizens of non-EU countries who reside in a European Union member state and who hold a residence permit marked “family member of European Union citizen” can also register. "

I do love the simplicity of the program, however entering and leaving CDG is so easy/quick (and doesn't require fingerprinting or even stamping on entry) I don't feel I'm gaining (or losing) a terrible amount of time.

At least not enough to be compelled to be married to an EU citizen just for the benefit :).
