YYZ Carry-On Limits?

I have not traveled through YYZ in a few years, but I recall they sometimes enforced stricter carry-on limits than I am used to, flying domestic US. What is the current status? Can I have both my 22-14-9 rollaboard and a standard briefcase with a laptop inside? I hate having to check luggage.

For reference, I am a US citizen flying AA from ORD and back. Thanks in advance for your help.

Check with your carrier but Canada does not limit to one item. Generally it is one piece of carry on, one personal item. And AC even often permits a woman to take a small handbag/purse in addition to that.

After the Xmas 2009 pantsbomber incident, CATSA instituted stricter carry-on restrictions, but those restrictions were lifted within a few months.

You will not have a problem with your bags. (At least you shouldn't.)

Its the same as the US, only no one from Airserv to make stupid comments like "your coat is your personal item"
