TSO Road Rage @ JFK

Not much info on the latest bad apple.

A Tsa agent was grounded yesterday after a parking lot fender-bender at JFK Airport sent him into a fit of road rage, authorities said.

Airport screener Oneil A. Daley, 31, allegedly threatened Texan Airlines employee José Compos, 29, with a baseball bat after the younger man nicked the TSA agent's car while backing up. Daley was charged with misdemeanor menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.

Man, some people take their cars really seriously.

Caradoc Feb 24, 2011 6:51 am

Reading the news lately makes it seem like the TSA has a disproportionately high number of kleptomaniac sex offenders with anger management issues.

HSVTSO Dean Feb 24, 2011 6:52 am

That'd be one very specific demographic. :D

Yep.

Looks like there are only about 65,000 of them on the planet.

I was about to ask why anyone would drive to work in NYC, but according to http://www.panynj.gov/airports/pdf/s...harges-jfk.pdf, employee parking at JFK costs "only" $50/mo, which is a steal. Compare to $40/mo just to ride AirTrain between the airport and the Subway/LIRR...

Texan Airlines
Obviously a diligent, well researched piece of 'journalism'.

Why do you think your line of work attracts so many rageaholics, crooks, and perverts, Dean?

FlyingHoustonian Feb 24, 2011 9:27 am

That mug shot is priceless.

But what is "Texan Airlines" and why is it in New York :D

Ciao,
FH

The job is tailor made for this personality type. The TSA attracts them and retains them. Normals quit.

Expect more of the same. If statistics were available we'd find more cases of child abuse and domestic disturbances in the TSA employee population as well.

It's the only place for them to grope people, steal their belongings, and see naked pictures, all day..

This is exactly what I see here every working day. Just be thankful you aren't on the bus with these (well I'll be nice & not say the word)

clrankin Feb 24, 2011 11:04 am

Sounds like the TSO should be thankful that Alvin Crabtree wasn't behind the wheel of that car. :D

Of course, if Rolando Negrin was there, they could have had a baseball bat duel - Stubby could have used his baton and the NYC TSO could have used his bat. That would have been kinda like seeing a low tech light saber duel... wonder which one would count as Darth Vader...

Mr. Compos should make sure his wallet wasn't stolen too.
