Pat down question

If you opt for the pat down/cavity search/double penetration, where does it usually happen? Where is your luggage/wallet/jacket/shoes while this occurs? Sitting on the security conveyor belt for anyone to take? Or do you first get your stuff and then get the pat down?

Thanks.

My experience in several airports is
1. the TSO will ask if you want a private screening (I'm female; I don't know if this is different for a male.)

2. The TSO will ask which are your belongings and the TSO will pick them up and carry them to the screening area. Sometimes my belongings have been swabbed.

During my one and only opt-out, the clerk had me put my wallet in the bin, and did not touch it. I always keep my wallet in my back pocket, unless I definitely have to opt-out.. If they wanted to search my wallet, I would remove all cash/credit cards/etc, and then let them x-ray it..

Well, sometimes they'll carry them to the screening area. Other times, they'll drop and break stuff and then refuse to give you the name of the thumb-fingered blue-shirted dolt who did it. And still other times, they'll put you through a secondary screening while their partners-in-crime steal stuff from the bags you can't see any more.

How long does tsa rub someone crotch (buttocks) ? I read they really go for it. Is it any different for men/women or it only depends on tsa ?

The hotter and cuter the woman, the longer it goes. I wouldn't be surprised to discover that male screeners are paying female screeners to "get it on" a little longer with the cuter ones. That's just how that culture is; low brow and basal rule the day.

You are probably right, but i still have no idea how long it could take to rub someone's crotch ( 30 seconds, 1 minute or more).

If one asserts themselves and refuses to be "compliant", they are immediately assumed to be a terrorist and must be hiding something, most certainly in the crotch. The screener, therefore, will gleefully rub, prod, probe, poke, and spend an excessive and prolonged amount of time on your genitalia. True story.

If one asks the screener to clarify what is meant by the term "resistance", as there is no piece of human anatomy called resistance, it will be assumed that the terrorist, err traveler, is difficult and must be put in his place. It is then necessary to vigorously rub and push the genitalia around in an overzealous attempt to find that elusive "resistance."

Of course, if you meekly submit and are compliant, then there is no guarantee that the screener will not be obsessed with rubbing your genitals.

Or you can go through the NoS, at which point there is no guarantee your genitals won't be rubbed.

Of course, it is said by some TSA employees that they do not touch genitals. As justification they say that they are only accessing resistance through clothing. They are welcome to parse words. Touching genitals is touching genitals whether clothing and gloves are involved or not.

+1 - varies slightly from place to place. Several times I have had to ask that my belongings stay in line of sight. Only once did the guy physically retrieve them and put them in front of me without me asking.

That's how it is supposed to work ^ ;) (and the private screening room is offered to all) but sometimes TSO's have to be reminded about not only bringing your belongings over, having them in your line of sight, changing gloves and etc

Thanks for your reply, but im not still aware of how much time they spend to rub someone's private place like a crotch (or whole pat down in general). Im not from US and ive never seen any pat down. Someone above mentioned, that it also depedns on your hotness. Let's say that the passanger is young and hot female - can you give me an idea how long they spent rubbing her crotch or amount a time for the whole pat down (average time period).
