Are Golf Balls allowed through the security checkpoints?
Planning to take a flight tomorrow - but just realized that I will have about 9 golf balls with me. Am I allowed to carry them on, or are they checkin only?
If not allowed, I'd rather leave them home and not have to check a bag. Thanks! |
Not a problem at all.

If some idiot in Bangladesh decides to try to put hydrogen peroxide in a golf ball some day I would suggest you take up tennis.

Don't see any problem with it.. Though, you are interacting with TSA.. ;)

That depends on whether or not the clerk "inspecting" your carry-on is either a golfer who'd like some new balls or has a ready market for "voluntarily surrendered" golf balls.

Yeah...I wouldn't take Pro V1's or anything, as they might end up being confiscated contraband for a TSO golfer.:td:

Thanks folks!
