TSA now indoctrinating the children
Was in line at the Denver security check point yesterday (12/22),
right in front of a family with 2 small children (age = approx. (4-7). A female TSA agent was wandering through the lined-up and waiting crowd handing out little (4" round) yellow "Junior TSA Agent" stickers to all the pint-sized travelers. I just stood there, shaking my head thinking of these good little "Hitler Youth" . . . wondering what the heck their parents were even thinking (or NOT thinking) in letting their kids accept these little indoctrination stickers. :( And to think that our tax dollars are being used for the indoctrination of our OWN children! God help us all . . . |
This happened to me a couple times at BWI. I largely let it ago as the people were trying to be nice for once. Not much different than the guy that gives smiley stickers to the kids. He couldn't read it anyway. I took it off the first chance I could.
I've educated my son in other ways what a travesty TSA is. He even yelled "Kip Hawley is an Idiot" at the checkpoint. |
I would consider it an unprovoked assault and request the police.

So now parents will walk in on the kids "playing TSA" instead of "playing doctor."

I think your son will now qualify for TSA Disparager Gold :)

If you can't openly molest, indoctrinate! Sadly, parents generally find it 'cute.'
Merry Christmas, kids. |
And just how much did these stickers bilk me not of my tax dollars? C'mon TSA, you can tell me-I won't tell the Inspector General's office. Honest, I won't-promise.

You know, bank tellers, grocery checkers, nurses, everybody seems to want to give my kid a sticker. I took one for him from a TSA agent (he didn't want it!) a year ago, back pre-pornoscanners. You've got a point, and I think I'd chuck it now, but don't be too hard on the parents. It's a sticker-giving world out there, and we're habituated.

Not just STICKERS... Remember when the individ. airlines were more than happy to give little fliers their metal logo insignia, usually in some wing morphage? Our kids had so many of these badges they looked like Mexican generals when they wore them all.
Phoebepontiac, it's also Grandparents who're habituated! But just try to get some of those "wings" nowadays. But I digress, as the elderly are wont to do. Back into the fray... |

My recommended response to others is to state "I'm now going to touch you the way you just touched my child". Imagine how well that goes over with, hair-messers, arm-touchers, and cheek-pinchers. :) |

Concerned parents (and grandparents) should also be aware that TSA screeners have been showing up at schools. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...7/9jd63hd8.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...93jd74js0e.jpg The fingerprint session is just plain creepy. |

Next a DNA sampling demo? |

Wouldn't it require a court order to take the fingerprint of a US citizen?
