Requesting Airlines rep when going through security?
 

I am wondering whether it is possible to request an airline rep to help me go through security for the following reasons:

1. Helping with carry-ons to ensure easier passage through checkpoints (especially while carrying laptops and other stuff that needs taking out for security inspections)
2. Help to look over/secure belongings when I am indisposed for security purposes
3. I am currently having problems with my back, but does not carry any doctor's note or medical letters (i.e. Proof).

Are requests like this allowable under TSA regulations? Will an airline allow such a request? Is there anything else I need to know about to help me obtain help?

Is it possible to request? Sure. Will your request be honored? Well, do you have top-level elite status? If not, doubtful, particularly considering that most of your concerns could be addressed by checking your luggage. (Yes, I'm a frequent flier and I realize that most of us never want to check luggage.)

I am not sure about the bags.

I do know of people who have requested an airline witness for a private screening due to failure of the body scanner or opting out. And I do know that the airlines will provide a gate services rep for that, though I have never done it.

Am PPS traveling in F for LAX-SIN Sector.. Is that high enough?

Its not that I don't want to check bags.. I'm checking all 4 and still left with 1 laptop roller and 1 rollaboard + 1 bag full of food.

Yeah - if you are at first class checkin and you mention it, I'd bet that they'd probably accommodate you. Especially considering that priority checkin is a breeze at LAX (compared to normal)

Thank you much for the confirmation. That'll help very much when I unload the 2 laptops through the machines.. Hope TSA isn't going to make a special note on this.. :D

We see this everyday exhibited by ONE airline at DEN and that airline is Frontier. They do it all. Everone else uses the contract people to support this.

You could try asking for the airline ground security coordinator if things get bad, but I doubt they would just go through with you.. Never hurts to try.
