Yes, actually I agree with everyone so far. What I meant to say was that "security procedures" in and of themselves are not the problem. TSA *could* be a productive and important agency if it were administered and supervised appropriately and within the legal context of the laws of our nation. TSA is the root problem. Or at least the philosophy behind it. Which says "screeners are at fault for the 9/11 bombings". Not the National Security Agency. Not the White House. Not the CIA. No, the lowly screeners had the fate of the nation in their hands and fumbled. So all those fault-free agencies aforenamed HAD to step in and make sure it was done right!!! After all, before you stone anyone, you MUST be "without sin".
