Quick question RE: LAX scanners
 

Hey Everyone,


I haven't flown out of T5 at LAX in a few months....are the naked body scanners at T5 reserved for every passenger who doesn't opt out, or are the scanners used as a secondary screening tool for select passengers? Thanks for any info..

Not sure about T5, but in T4 last month it was used along with the metal detector as primary. They had one NOS working and four metal detectors. They seemed to randomly select those from the line to go through the NOS.
