Man threatened by TSA with $10,000 "civil lawsuit" when he refuses backscatter
The guy in this story is my hero. I don't think I'd have the gonads to do this, and in the end, this fellow may be facing all kinds of legal trouble from the TSA and the Feds - all because he declined the nude-o-scope.

But where it really gets hairy is when he attempts to leave the airport (after being escorted out of the security area by LEO and TSA). As he's nearing the airport exit, he is stopped by some guy in a suit and told that he has to re-enter the security area and go through the full screening, and is told that if he refuses to go through the screening, he'll be subject to a civil lawsuit and a $10,000 fine.
It's an incredibly disturbing story.
BTW, for those who make claims of him exaggerating his story, there's full audio of the event at the site (linked above).

After he [the TSA agent] finished his description but before he started the pat down, I looked him straight in the eye and said, "If you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested." He, a bit taken aback, informed me that he would have to involve his supervisor because of my comment.
TSA: "Someone is going to pat you down...if you're not comfortable with that, we can escort you back out and you're not going to fly today."
Passenger: "I don't understand how a sexual assault can be a condition of my flying."
TSA: "Sir, this is not a sex assault."
Passenger: "It would be if you weren't the government."
TSA: This is an administrative search and we are authorized to do it. You submitted to it by coming through the checkpoint."

yup
My sincere apologies. Guess my sleepy morning eyes aren't working as well as they should.
